The information below outlines the eligibility criteria, attendance expectations and key dates for the Emerging Leaders Conference. Applicants are encouraged to review these details before submitting their application.

Eligibility
Applicants must:

• Be an ACRRM Fellow within the past five (5) years
• Be practising in Australia, or intending to return to practice in Australia following leave or international practice
• Demonstrate clear leadership intent and readiness
• Show a strong commitment to health equity, social accountability, and improving outcomes for rural, remote and First Nations communities

Attendance Requirements
Due to the immersive and cohort-based nature of the program, successful applicants are expected to:

• Attend and actively participate in the full ELC program
• Attend RMA26 at the completion of the ELC
• Complete a post-event evaluation and provide a testimonial
• Participate in follow-up engagement activities, including interviews and outcome tracking

Parents with newborns are welcome to attend with a support person. Due to the immersive nature of the program, other family members, including children are unable to attend.

Key Dates

• Successful applicants notified by 30 June 2026.
• Acceptance of invitations required by 11 July 2026.
• Waitlisted applicants (if applicable) notified by 14 July 2026.
